Amcam ölünce ilk bana haber verdiler. İnanmadım. Olmaz öyle şey, dedim. Oldu valla, dediler, amcan öldü. Ya tabii ki ölmüştür, ayrı konu, ama ilk bana haber verdiğinize inanmıyorum, dedim. İnan, dediler, ilk sana haber verdik. Sustum ve benimle konuşan nefesin arkasındaki boşluğu dinledim. Yalan olsa bir hışırtısı, bir kıpırtısı, bir şeysi mutlaka duyulurdu. Doğru söylüyorlardı. Cidden amcam ölmüştü ve ilk bana haber veriyorlardı. Çok duygulandım. Hayatımda ilk kez bir konuda ilk akla gelen isim oluyordum. Peki dedim, teşekkür ederim. Gururum okşandı. Bunu hiç unutmaya cağım.

Ayrıca hepimizin başı sağolsun. Ölenle ölünmez. Allah geride kalanlara sabır filan. Ben müsaadenizle gidip biraz ağlayayım. İyi geceler. Telefonu kapattım.
